| Echayan's MATERNAL GRANDFATHER Rev. Thomma Katthanar was a priest of the Jacobite Syrian Christian Church. He belonged to the Kaduvumbhagam family at Pampady, where he was the Vicar of the Pampady Palli (currently Pampady Cathedral). His son and grandson were also priests (see below) |
| Echayan's, UNCLE Rev. Alexander Cor Episcopa, was a second generation Vicar of the Pampady Palli. He had no formal education, yet he designed and installed a hand driven water pump and a running hot water system in the Kaduvumbhagam House. He made many other gadgets including a big Clock of a "semi clock-tower" in Pampady Town. He officiated in my wedding at the Zehion Church at Kothala. |
